Transcript of page 0715 -

This page cuts to a small room with a little window with pink curtains. Lem and Fern are sitting for tea and a snack at a table at that window. This is presumably the tiny hut that exists aboveground at this property - Garadian's home. Fern in the first panel sits looking bemused while Lem happily spreads jam on a piece of bread.

In the second panel, Fern leans over to Lem, saying, "It's a bit cramped." Lem responds, "Don't let her hear you bro" while Garadian, walking away in the foreground, says, "Let me know if you boys want anything else."

In the third panel, Fern still looks shocked, holding a piece of bread in his hand and staring at nothing. He says, "I'm trying to wrap my head around it. And I'm recalling what I was doing all this time. Some of it anyway." ("Some of it anyway" is in smaller text, muttered)

In the fourth panel, Lem is munching his bread and says, "I was always curious what you were up to. We could tell you were on Faidia, but not where."

In the fifth panel is a closeup of a partially hard boiled egg, its yolk dark orange in the center with the lighter, more cooked yolk and entirely cooked egg white circled around it. Fern says from off-panel, "I slept, but I also just...drifted through the planet. Miles and miles under the surface. I was drawn to the heat inside Faidia."

In the sixth panel, Fern is covering half of his eyes thoughtfully as he leans on his left hand. He says, "I remember sitting around in magma. Tracing along veins of rock, feeling them change. It was so dark and warm, I really felt at home..." Lem says, "That must have been really cool. I bet Funa would love to hear about it."

In the seventh panel, a series of melcey busts is visible. Fern, from off-panel, says, "What about the work I skipped out on?" Lem says, "Oh, that's what the melceys are for!"
