Grayling page 0803 Transcription

In the first panel, we're shown the attic, which has a sloping ceiling to make the room triangular and long. There is an air vent visible, and a table. Cal's diary reads, "May let me have the attic room. It's large, but the sloping ceiling makes me feel small."

In the second panel, we get a better view of the table and chair in the attic. The table, or rather desk, has a computer and a stack of papers on it. The chair is old and plain. Cal's diary reads, "I work for awhile. Or, you know, whatever."

In the third panel, Cal is eating with May and Rae. He looks a little bored as he chews. The diary reads, "We stop for small meals at 11am and 4pm. Dinner at 8pm."

In the last and fourth panel, Cal is in the garden holding a basket with a lot of vegetables that he's already gathered. He has on sunglasses and a big sun hat. His diary continues, "If it's a nice day, I put in a couple of hours in the garden."
