In the first panel, we see a wooden crate sitting on the floor next to two peoples' legs (Lem and Cal's). The crate contains round jars with blue floating souls inside of them. Cal's diary reads, "The next day was even busier than usual. Lem came over with soul samples and talked A LOT."

In the second panel, Lem is holding some papers and talking while Cal gazes into one of the jars. The soul inside is quite small. Cal's diary continues, "I didn't really listen, but he gave me his notes."

Cal carries the crate of souls away in the third panel, while in the background Lem laughs and talks to Viv, who looks confused. Rae is also seen, smiling at Lem's joke. Cal's diary reads, "So it's fine."

In the fourth panel, a closeup on Viv's face, he's glaring daggers at Lem. Viv has a new haircut and a mustache, but has shaved off his beard. Cal's diary reads, "Viv had already arrived, so I had to hurry anyway."

Lem, still laughing, points at himself in the fifth panel. (Author's note: Lem is ribbing Viv because they both wore the same shirt that day, one with a trendy double collar. Viv is not amused.) Cal's diary reads, "Lem started a fight with Viv in the living room."

The sixth panel shows Lem getting distracted by something off to the side while May intercedes between him and Viv. Viv is incredibly annoyed and May's exasperated and tired. Cal's diary reads, "They really hate each other still."

Lem's amused exterior drops in the seventh panel as he glares off to the left, not happy with the hostility Viv showed towards him. Cal's diary goes on, "I guess I'm not the only one with behavioral issues uwu"

In the last and eight panel, Viv has his own glare off to the right. Cal's diary reads, "(I do wonder what their beef is though."
