In the first panel, Cal has moved closer, putting his hand on May's shoulder. May is in despair, hanging her head. She says, "We're your family. You treat strangers better." "May, stop this now," Cal says.

In the second panel, Cal spins her around, holding her in place with his left hand and waving off what she's saying with his right, his face close to hers as he tries to intimidate her. "What do you expect me to do, say I'm sorry?" he says. "I didn't DO anything! I LOVE him! I wouldn't harm a hair on his head!"

May stares back at him defiantly in the third panel, cutting through his excuses. "You're trying to wear us out," she states. "You want us to give up on the whole thing."

In the fourth panel, we see that Cal is holding both of her shoulders. May continues, "Oh, and. I don't recall giving you permission to touch me, Cal."

Cal loosens his hold on her in the fifth panel and May snatches her arm away. They both look disgusted and angry with each other. "Fine," Cal says. "Have it your way." "Thank you," May says. "I will."

In the last and sixth panel, May goes back on the attack. "This is a vacation for you & we both know it," she says. "You know how painful it is for us, & you're pushing your advantage. We're not going to give up."
